Membership FAQ’s

How do I find your membership prices?

We offer individual, couple and family rates as well as senior and student rates for 12 month memberships or short term memberships. We also offer small business and corporate rates. Ask if your company participates. Call us or drop by the Club and talk to one of our staff members so we can help you find the plan that best suits your needs.

Can I try the club before I join?

Absolutely! We will gladly credit you for the cost of a guest pass or short-term membership when you join within 30 days. Some restrictions apply.

When I join First in Fitness will you show me how to use the fitness equipment?

Yes, as a new member you will receive an orientation session to help you get started using the cardio machines and Nautilus circuit. Once you have completed your orientation we offer a Basic Training Package - three one-hour sessions with one of our nationally certified personal trainers at a discounted rate. Can I have a membership that just includes the pool?

Unlike many other clubs, your Club membership at First in Fitness Racquet and Swim Club includes use of the pool at no additional charge. We also offer public open swim times at reduced rates. See our pool schedule. Swim lessons are also available to non-members.

Can I take any classes or use any services as a non-member?

Non-members can enroll in personal training, swim lessons, programs, summer camps, and group exercise classes. Punch cards for group exercise classes are available. Massage and Physical Therapy services are also available. See Non-Member options for more information.

Can I add family members at any time?

Yes. Immediate family members may be added at any time. The add-on price is determined by the age and length of the new contract commitment.

Can non-members use First in Fitness?

Adults can purchase daily, weekly or temporary one-month passes. Children between the ages of 14-18 may as well as long as a parent/guardian signs them up.See Non-Member options for more information.

Can college-aged students use First in Fitness over breaks?

Yes. We offer special one-week, one-month and summer memberships for college students.

Can I join for the summer?

Summer memberships are available with an option to extend into the Fall.

Can I put my membership on hold?

You may put your membership on hold for up to 3 months per year. There is a small monthly fee for this service. Your membership will be reactivated at the end of the hold period. If you are injured or need surgery you may put your membership on a medical hold without charge. A doctor's note is required for medical holds.

How do I cancel my membership?

A member may terminate his/her membership at the end of the minimum contract period by notifying First in Fitness in writing by the 15th of the month. Without notification membership will remain in effect on a month-to-month basis.

I am moving. Can I get out of my contract?

If you are moving more than 50 miles from the Club you may cancel you membership without penalty when you provide proof.
